AI Predicts Breast Cancer Risk Years Ahead

NYU Langone researchers tested an AI model that estimates five-year breast cancer risk using over 313,000 mammograms from more than 161,000 women, tracking tissue changes across years of 3D scans. The tool remains research-only and is not FDA-authorized for clinical use.
